Voyeurism was the only dysfunction recognized or asked about in the test. Lastly, number 98 was a sexual variant we talked about in class this week. Rice Purity Test average score can vary as per the different basis. Some questions included suspension and police encounters. Be mindful when sharing personal information, including your religious or political views, health, racial background, country of origin, sexual identity and/or. I also found it interesting how they included not only sexual history, but history with police officers and authority as well. I know it’s just a silly test, but when I read that I was taken aback. Therefore, they would have to check #99 and I don’t think sexual trauma as a child should factor into someone’s overall purity number. That being said if someone was sexually abused by a family member as a child they would have committed an act of incest. Something else I noticed was number 99 says “committed an act of incest” I’m not saying it never happens, but most people don’t want to have sexual relations with their family members. When your living in a heteronormative society it is easy to not account for anything besides hetro sex so wanted to give them props for that (check #25 or any questions with MPS next to it).
Some question factored into account that not everyone taking the test would be straight which was pretty cool. This test differs from the Rice Purity Test in that it looks better. Besides the test being down right hilarious and just fun to take I think there are some interesting things to note about the “purity test”. Rice Purity Test is the survey in Classic Purity Score that will be shown for reference.
